Does anyone recommend the usage of a spring FAMAS in airsoft?

My brother had just recently bought this gun and he is pretty satisfied with. It's basically a low powered sniper rifle. I recommend some heavy BBs for improved accuracy. .25 BBs would do the job. Springers are not desriable for airsoft, you should a gas blow back or electric blow back or CO2 pistol.
