Can anyone help "How to port foward"?

In the advance settings tab in your router, try to add the port on which your DVR is operating on and if possible give it a name like "DVR". Also you may want to open that port to allow it through the Firewall on your OS (operating system) and you would do that in "Windows Security Center"
